taught at Captain Cook on the Kona Coast of the Big Island. She was the
only authentic, Hawaiian kupuna licensed by the state of Hawaii to train
therapists under state requirements. She now serves as consultant when
available. Her daughter, Nerita Machado, now teaches Auntie's style of
lomilomi massage.
