More and more we see Eastern health philosophies influencing Western courses of therapy. What most Westerners don't know, however, is that what works for one may not work for all. Illuminated Mind

Our feelings and minds seem to be polar opposites, and many times, it is truly difficult to understand why we feel the way we do because emotions are sometimes too abstract for the mental process of understanding.  With more and more of our stressed out and emotional adults and children being quieted by anti-psychotic medications and illegal drugs, so have our passions and creativity. It is now imperative that we learn skills to cope. Psych yourself up to enjoy learning whether it be on web pages, in books or through openly experiencing life.  To many of us, learning and remembering is the purpose in living.

It is absolutely acceptable to believe that our feelings affect our judgments, reasoning and psychological health.  There are many of us, however, who are grateful that recent scientific research supports what we have known all along: emotional states are intimately connected to physical health and disease and visa versa.  It is in our best interest, then, to maintain healthy feelings.  If we can be happy with ourselves, it naturally follows that those around us will be positively affected as well.  Review our links to other helpful sites, or read a few of our offerings of inspiring original articles.

We all experience things differently.  Consequently, our every reflex originates from the inner places where we form perceptions in response to these experiences.  We become very involved in these perceptions which eventually develop into strong beliefs. It is in the realm of the Spirit where body, mind and heart can come to agree, and in doing so, we become happier, more satisfied people.
